1. What Hashiruu is

Hashiruu is a marketplace where people post tasks (requesters) and other people offer to do them (runners). Hashiruu is not a party to the agreement between a requester and a runner, does not employ runners, and does not perform tasks itself. We provide the platform, the messaging, and the escrow payment flow.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
• Give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person, one account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

3. Posting and taking tasks

• Describe tasks honestly, including the item, where it is, and what you will pay.
• Runners set their own price in an offer. Accepting an offer creates a contract between the requester and that runner.
• Tasks must be legal where they are requested and where they are carried out. No prohibited, dangerous, counterfeit or restricted goods, and nothing that breaks customs, import or export rules. Runners are responsible for complying with those rules when carrying or shipping items.
• Runners must connect a payout account with Stripe before making offers.

4. Payments, escrow and fees

• After hiring a runner, the requester pays the agreed price plus a 5% service fee into escrow through Stripe. If this payment is not made within 48 hours, the hire is cancelled and the task reopens.
• The runner receives the agreed price minus a 5% service fee.
• Escrowed money is released to the runner when the requester confirms the task is done. If the requester neither releases the payment nor opens a dispute, it is released automatically 7 days after the escrow was funded.
• Payments and payouts are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s terms. Payout timing depends on Stripe and the runner’s bank.

5. Cancellations and disputes

• A requester can cancel an open task, or cancel a hire before paying, at no cost.
• If something goes wrong after payment, either side can open a dispute while the contract is active. The money stays in escrow while the dispute is reviewed, and we decide how it is released or refunded based on the evidence in the chat and the task.

6. Reviews and content

You keep ownership of what you post (task descriptions, photos, messages, reviews) and give us a licence to host and show it to operate the service. Reviews must be honest and about a real completed task. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

7. ID verification

Runners can verify their identity by uploading an ID document and a selfie. Verification means our team checked the document; it is not a guarantee of a runner’s conduct. See the privacy policy for how these files are handled.

8. Liability

Requesters and runners are responsible for their own tasks, items and conduct. To the extent the law allows, Hashiruu is not liable for losses arising from tasks, items, or interactions between users, and our total liability is limited to the fees we received from you in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and ending your account

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes. You can close your account at any time by contacting us; open contracts and disputes are completed first.

10. Governing law

The governing law and place of jurisdiction are set out by the operator named above.
